Enjoy a scenic drive across picturesque Banks Peninsula, past rural Tai Tapu and Motukarara, skirt around the shores of Lake Ellesmere and Lake Forsyth, through the farming settlements of Little River and Cooptown. At the summit of the Akaroa Hill, a stop is made at the historic 'Hilltop Tavern'. Enjoy panoramic views of Akaroa Harbour. Time for photos and to purchase refreshments before descending down through the delightful Akaroa inner bays. Your driver will point out many local landmarks and points of interest. Then it's time to enjoy Akaroa at your leisure!
